Jewel Fever App Reviews
App hangs for no reason - freezes system. Force Quit does not even work. Dont waste your money. I thought Apaple would certify stuff like this before selling it in the App Store.
great game!!!
Great game, lots of fun to play. :-)
I enjoy the game very much. Love the different modes you can play. I catch myself playing this game a lot so be prepared to spend more time on your computer or IPAD!
Jewel Fever
Fun Game. Love the 60 second game. Wish it had choices of music. How about Jewel world for Mac books? I know its on iPad.
Outstanding
An addictive game, I play it far too much! Its great that it works with Mac OS 10.6 The only negative is that I would love more choices of music.

LOVE THE GAME ITS ADDICTIVE AS HECK LOVE TO PLAY, PROBABLY TOO MUCH, BUT IT IS REALLY GREAT
Disappointed. After a play when Im figuring out a new move, suddenly the pieces shift -- not because my previous move caused them to change. Not sure, but its annoying. I dont understand the game sequences, but what seems like out of the blue it announces a new game. I only play this when Im totally bored with other things.
This was a waste of 99 cents. Unable to save the last game played so you have to start over again every time. The game pieces wont shift fast enough when they are clicked on. Frustrating!
I really enjoy this addictive game. It makes me challenge myself each time I play and keeps my brain active. I go back to it time and time again. Would highly recommend this game to anyone of any age.
After buying a new MacBook, I was looking for a replacement for Bejeweled 2, which is available only for older versions of OS X. This one seemed promising, but the cascading is not smooth and I don’t like the appearance of the jewels. The worst thing is that after I had played for a couple of hours total (over two days), it seemed that the exploding jewels got much brighter and had a lasting halo effect so that I could not see the color of the remaining jewels on the board until after the explosion died down. And then they began to hurt my eyes and give me a headache. It seems weird that this would not be the case from the beginning, and maybe I’m remembering it wrong or I became sensitized to it somehow. Anyway, I got my $0.99 worth, but I think I’m going to delete this game.
Totally boring! This game does give the excitement of repeated blow ups. I play it because it’s better than nothing, however, I plan to purchase the vintage game and get rid of this. I don’t have much faith in free/cheap games.
Keeps crashing!
It crashes during every game. sorry I purchased this!!!!
Interesting--for a while...
There's no explanation as to why a given level ends when it does. Is it time based? If so, shouldn't there be a countdown timer in the app? In any event, the game crashes now and again. It just disappears from the screen and I get the Apple message that it quit unexpectedly. Probably going to uninstall it.
Crash, crash, crash
This app crashed 3 times in a row after 2 or 3 matches. This was on Catalina on a new MacBook Air. I was not able to play the game at all.
Poor substitute for Bejeweled
This is a boring.. truly boring.. attempt at replicating the great popcap game Bejeweled.
Stole my money
Just purchased this game for $0.99 and downloaded. Everytime I try to open this game, a message pops up saying "Jewel Fever quit unexpectedly". So I can NOT play this game AT ALL!!! I know it's only $0.99, but this is completely unacceptable!!!
disappointed
Just purchased this and it unecpectly closed according to the pop up. actually it never opened. Really disapointed bc i miss bejeweled 3. never should have upgraded to caatalina
Won't open
I feel as if I've been robbed! I can't play this because it won't open.
Great bargin, always like this game.
Had bejeweled way back, like the short time version, get a break from the iMac every now and then.
Jewel Fever
Enjoy the relaxed version. Also, the music background is perky and pleasant!
